Arrangements

I've done some writing for big band, and several of my arrangements have found their way into the book of the Contemporary Jazz Orchestra (I used to play sax with them, too).

• Mellow Tonin': an original, straight-ahead swing tune, performed by the CJO live at Pearl's
• Amor Fati: an original, straight-eighth latin tune, played by the College of San Mateo Night Band
• Sugar: by Stanley Turrentine, arranged as a modal jazz waltz, played by the College of San Mateo Night Band.
• Bud, Budd and Buddy: my arrangement of Bouncin' with Bud, played in concert by the CSM Night Band.

Compositions

• Rosa Rugosa: bossa nova, from the Crotty Corman and Phipps CD
• Many Lights: med swing, performed by Triceratops
• I See You Jumping: manic samba; also Triceratops
• Sparks: jazz waltz; Triceratops yet again
